Bar 1838 is located in the Downtown Allentown Market. During the revitalization of the town, our three owners wanted to create a space that would take people back to the nostalgia that surrounds Allentown's history while celebrating in the present moment. At 1838, our roots are important to us. From 1838 to present day, Allentown has changed so much. We used the town's history as inspiration to build this bar and want to share some key moments with you. Enjoy, and welcome to where it all started; 1838.
